Don’t forget to upload your submission for “So You Think You Can Pitch”, this year’s live pitch competition at the Realscreen Summit. Based on a popular game show format and hosted by comedian and game show host Chris Wylde, this year’s session will offer five brave producers the chance to pitch their project live to a panel of industry judges.
The session, taking place February 3rd from 4:30 - 5:30 PM, is co-produced by City Lights Television and promises an invaluable experience for the participants as well as great entertainment and learning value for onlooking producers and broadcasters.
Based on project merit and pitch quality, the judges will select one lucky winner to walk away with a free pass to next year’s Realscreen Summit 2010. This is a great opportunity to build the profile of your project and attract partners quickly!
The application deadline is Friday, January 9.
Click here to get to the form.
That date is also the very last opportunity to save $100 off your conference registration, so make sure you take advantage.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year.

If you haven’t reserved your guest room at our discounted negotiated rate I encourage you to do so as soon as possible. We’re at over 60% of capacity and on track to sell out the first week of January. For details on how to book your accommodation, go to the ‘Registration & Venue’ tab of the Realscreen Summit website. Remember that you MUST be a registered delegate of the Summit to enjoy this special rate. Registered delegates will welcome the news that the venue is working with us to implement heightened security measures this year, ensuring that only registered attendees will have access to speakers and other delegates. As well, the hotel has installed boosters in an effort to significantly improve cell phone reception on the conference level.
If you are interested in reserving a private meeting room or a table in the delegates lounge, please contact Melissa Giddens at mgiddens@brunico.com or Kerry LaiFatt at klaifatt@brunico.com
