The Realscreen Footage Forum is a day-long conference, presented as part of the Realscreen Summit with the assistance of FOCAL International. Dedicated to the discussion of trends and issues related to footage and archives in non-fiction television and film, the aim of the forum is to explore the opportunities for filmmakers to use footage, and for libraries and suppliers to showcase their services.
In addition to informational sessions, new this year is Speed Dating — a fantastic networking opportunity for producers and libraries to meet. We’ll have three dedicated timeslots throughout the day when producers can sign up for seven minute ‘dates’ with participating libraries. Producers might want to come prepped with specific projects in mind for which they’d like to find footage, or they can simply discover the services the libraries offer.
Event organizers will facilitate booking meetings through the MyEvent online contact system.
Up until November 23rd, libraries can book a table for the day for just US$1795, which includes one pass for the entire Realscreen Summit (a value of $1295 on its own). After that date, the rate goes up to US$1995 for the table and pass. Please call or email Melissa Giddens for details at 416-408-2300 or mgiddens@brunico.com.
